Presets can contain potentially harmful / malicious content. For example Touch Bar widgets could trigger arbitrary shell or Apple Scripts. Because of this you should always be careful when importing a preset into BTT.
The developer of BTT tries to verify as many presets as possible. You can request verification for a specific preset by writing a short e-mail to andreas@folivora.ai. Verification is done on a best effort basis, so there is still no guarantee afterwards.
